Who we are

Booker Time ("we", "us") provides scheduling, customer management, and communication software for small businesses ("our Service"), available at bookertime.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to business owners who use Booker Time and to their customers whose information is processed through the Service.

Information we collect

  • Account information — name, email address, and password when a business registers for Booker Time.
  • Business data — services, business hours, bookings, and related records a business creates in the Service.
  • Customer information — names, email addresses, phone numbers, appointment details, and notes that a business or its customers provide when booking appointments or communicating with the business.
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage information — log and device data used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How we use information

  • To provide the Service: scheduling, reminders, customer records, and billing.
  • To send appointment-related communications (confirmations, reminders, reschedule and cancellation notices, and follow-ups) by email and, with consent, by SMS.
  • To respond to support requests and to secure and improve the Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

SMS / text messaging

Businesses using Booker Time may send appointment-related text messages (such as booking confirmations and reminders) to customers who have opted in to receive them.

  • Consent to receive text messages is collected when a customer provides their phone number and agrees to receive appointment notifications. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
  • Message frequency varies based on appointment activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service — such as our hosting, database, payment (Stripe), email delivery, and telecommunications providers — under agreements that limit their use of it, and where required by law.

Data retention & security

We retain information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by per-business isolation controls, and payment credentials are handled exclusively by our payment processor.

Your choices

  • Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
  • Ask the business you booked with, or contact us, to access, correct, or delete your information.
  • Business owners can update or delete their account data from within the Service.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Questions or requests: contact us at support@bookertime.com.
