Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Booker Time (the "Service"), available at bookertime.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. The Service

Booker Time provides scheduling, customer management, an AI assistant, and customer communication tools (email and SMS) for small businesses. We may add, change, or remove features as the Service evolves.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under them.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.

5. SMS / text messaging program

Businesses on Booker Time may send appointment-related text messages (confirmations, reminders, reschedule/cancellation notices, and follow-ups) to customers who have opted in.

• Message frequency varies based on appointment activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to cancel and receive no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@bookertime.com.
• Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how phone numbers and consent are handled.

Businesses using the Service must only message customers who have consented, must honor opt-outs, and must comply with applicable messaging laws (including the TCPA and CTIA guidelines).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, marketing without consent, or unlawful/deceptive communications.
• Violate any law or the rights of others, or upload malicious code.
• Attempt to access other tenants' data or disrupt the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you and your customers submit to the Service. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service (hosting, processing, transmitting messages you initiate). Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. AI features

The Service includes AI-powered assistance that acts only on your business's data through controlled actions (e.g., booking appointments, answering questions). AI output may contain errors — review important actions and information. The AI does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Booker Time will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and continued use constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the Service at any time; we may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
